Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction in providing operational and administrative support for the implementation, auditing and resolution of loading issues for payment innovation programs.
Ideal Candidate Background/Skillset:
Preferred candidate should possess experience working with Individuals with Intellectual or Developmental Disabilities (IDD) whether through in-person care and support or working at an office/organization that caters to the IDD community. This is a must for this role.
In-state travel in Tennessee is required. Experience working as a Direct Support Professional, Support Coordinator, Case Manager, Social Worker or related profession that worked with the disabled community is a major plus.
This candidate must be independent (responsible to set own meetings and manage schedule); have a passion for improving the system and support for the people with IDD, and the leadership ability to offer peer to peer support by providing tools, knowledge and resources.
In addition to the IDD aspect of the position, this candidate must also have the necessary business acumen and professional skills to collaborate with Providers with the duties listed below.
How you will make an impact:
- Provides support for assigned provider contracts.
- Obtains and analyzes financial performance and quality metrics.
- Support and facilitates value based JOCs (Joint Operating Committee meetings).
- Develops and maintains contact database and disseminates communications to providers as necessary.
- Aggregate and analyze provider data form various sources to recommend and implement solutions to assist with provider collaboration activities.
- Collaborates with provider contractors and network relations reps to meet provider service needs.
- Encourages providers to act on patient outreach opportunities.
- Continues to build knowledge of the organization, processes and customers.
Minimum Requirements:
- Requires a BA/BS degree; 3 years’ experience in data base maintenance related to health care; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experience:
- Value Based Care Programs background is also a plus.
- Provider environment experience preferred.
- Healthcare experience preferred.
- Strong MS Suite is highly preferred, particularly with Excel and PowerPoint.
- Data analysis skills are preferred.
- Strong experience with giving presentations to varying group sizes for Provider and Stakeholder meetings.
- The successful candidate will have a combination of the IDD support side of things AND the business side of things.
