Training Specialist - Clinical Services, Military OneSource

The Training Specialist - Clinical Services, Military OneSource will be responsible for facilitating a variety of performance-based learning events that may include, but are not limited to general associate, management, clinical, technical and operations training. Training often focuses on more abstract, less concrete soft skills training meant to influence behavior and buy-in from others. 

How you will make an impact:

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: 

  • Facilitates learning events that are performance-based in nature. 
  • Delivers synchronous and asynchronous learning events using varied media in virtual and global environments. 
  • Employs rapid course development methodologies to quickly meet client needs. 
  • Exercises classroom management including learner performance and escalates issues to Learning & Development and client leadership when necessary. 
  • Measures, tracks and evaluates learner and client satisfaction. 
  • Thinks and acts globally and is aware of learning and cultural differences both domestically and globally that drive learner effectiveness. Keeps technical skills updated. 

Minimum requirements:

  • Requires MA/MS in related field and a minimum of 3 years training experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. 
  • Four years of clinical experience and licensure in the appropriate field required (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, etc.). 
  • Ability to travel up to 10% domestically required. 
  • Previous training experience required for Learning & Development Operations and Clinical Training Specialists.

Preferred qualifications/additional information:

  • Based in or around the Arlington, VA area
  • Available to work in-office as necessary
  • Prior military experience (or relevant civilian experience such as spouse or military service provider) is a plus
  • Covid-19 Vaccination required as this is a government contract
