Carelon Director - Solutions Innovation

Responsible for creating Carelon internal sales strategy with our CSBD commercial client. Develops and leads initiatives, tied to growth strategy across all solutions, products and our Carelon portfolio in concert with other Carelon product and Customer Success team members with a focus on achieving positive financial impact and growth targets for both Carelon business units and CSBD.

Lead strategic planning and innovation with Carelon stakeholders folding in and partnering with Customer Success team for joint execution of strategic plan. This will include, but not be limited to whitespace identification, to total addressable market, serviceable addressable market analysis and playbooks to achieve opportunities across Carelon business units tied to these and long-term growth plan objectives.

Maintain integrity of Carelon/Elevance integrated landscape and collaborate with Customer Success team to communicate status updates and final proposed strategy. Own growth-related reporting to team, executives, and cross-functional business partners including data driven insights that identify areas where remediation is required, mitigation playbook steps, and analysis.

How you will make an impact:

  • Provides comprehensive analytic and business insights in partnership with Carelon Business Units tied to Carelon growth strategy.
  • Investigates and manages internal and external issues, to drive growth attainment.
  • May provide leadership and/or oversight of projects, project teams and/or external consultants. 
  • May provide leadership and/or oversight of projects, project teams and other responsibilities as required to propel growth opportunities, development and execution.
  • Engage as best-in-class partner with Customer Success team to achieve overall team and organizational goals with a collaborative, partnership first approach.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires a BA/BS degree in a related area and a minimum of 10 years of increasingly responsible business and professional experience including 3 years of leadership experience in a related field; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:

  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Work experience in sales, account management, Customer Success experience preferred.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $174,880 to $314,784.

Locations:  California; Colorado; Nevada; Washington State; Jersey City, NJ; New York City, NY; Ithaca, NY and Westchester County, NY
