Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations.

The Corporate Communications Manager – Internal Digital Platforms role will create and shape content (written and designed editorial) for the company’s intranet. The Manager should support the organization’s editorial calendar and day-to-day operations of the platform, with a view towards continuously assessing and refining the user experience.

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

•Publish and maintain news content on the company’s intranet.

•Source and write articles as part of the “daily newsroom” of stories.

•Partner with internal communications leads across the organization to develop and publish stories about business initiatives, key milestones, enterprise culture and programs.

•Expand storytelling opportunities by developing innovative ways to deliver and repurpose a story (e.g., infographics, videos, etc.).

•Co-develop editorial content strategy aligned with the company’s strategic initiatives.

•Maintain intranet editorial calendar and ensure best practices for quality control of editorial content.

•Analyze and communicate relevant metrics to stakeholders to demonstrate site effectiveness and drive ongoing site improvement.

•Work closely with Information Technology partners to monitor and resolve technical issues.

•Support the Director, Communications in transforming the platform to create a user-friendly, employee-centric experience.

Qualifications:

•Requires a BA/BS in public relations, journalism, communications, or related area; 7 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. MS preferred. Knowledge of managed care and the health insurance industry preferred.

Preferred qualifications:

•Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce written content quickly and on deadline.

•Demonstrated ability to translate complex topics into accessible, engaging prose.

•Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver within tight timeframes in a fast-paced environment.

•Exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

•Strong content development skills.

•Experience with various content management systems.

•Sound business judgment and experience “connecting the dots” among seemingly unrelated topics.

•Knowledge of the managed care/healthcare insurance industry preferred.
