Hours: M-F 8am- 5pm EST (40 hours weekly)

The Credentialing Associate is responsible for processing credentialing and re-credentialing files in accordance with Company and departmental policies and procedures and in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations and accrediting organization standards.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

Assures the confidentiality and integrity of all aspects of the credentialing program and process including communication of information regarding participating and other internal departments, as well as database management, provider relations and contracting.

Processes incoming USPS mail, scans letters, and patient documents according to written processes.

May be utilized within the Pharmacy credentialing operations department to support the company's entire credentialing process.
Qualifications - External
Primary requirements:

Requires a high school diploma and one year of office experience in a health care environment;

Any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
