This is an individual contributor remote role; however, the incumbent must live in the state of Connecticut. Work schedule: Monday - Friday; standard business hours.

The Business Information Developer Sr is responsible for developing and executing complex data mining analyses, which involves the design and execution of programs to extract data.

Primary duties may include but are not limited to:

  • Uses complex program languages to extract data.
  • Manage file load and transfer process of external datasets.
  • Provide reporting support on Integrated Care for Kids (INCK Grant)
  • 30% of time File Load Processing, 50% of time SQL Developing and 20% of time Crystal report development
  • Programs and writes queries and reports.
  • Develops and executes data mining analyses.
  • Develops new and standard reports utilizing data warehouse information.
  • Establishes and maintains strong knowledge of data warehouse database design, data definitions, system capabilities, related programming languages, and data integrity issues.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires a BS/BA degree and a minimum of 2 years related programming experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
  • Experience in standard Business Information tools and complex programming/query languages required.
  • PC, spreadsheet, and database skills strongly preferred.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:

  • Experience with SQL strongly preferred.
  • PC, spreadsheet, and database skills preferred.

  • Ability to collaborate across functional teams.
  • Ability to plan/schedule/communicate/manage time sensitive deliverables.
  • Must be detail oriented and self-starting and statistical savvy.
  • Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills.
