AI Senior AI Engineer (US)

Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). Ideal candidates will live within 50 miles of one of our PulsePoint locations.

The AI Senior AI Engineer  will develop, analyze and model healthcare, operational, economic, management and other organizational data for the Artificial Intelligence (AI) function.

How you will make an impact:

• Recommends solutions to new and complex problems, develops innovative strategies, quantifies the competitive performance of the organization's operations and/or markets, evaluates the potential impact of changes and reports on forecasts that affect the industry.

• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of clinicians, engineers, and researchers to deliver an end-to-end product: from ideation to data collection and analysis, model architecture design, development, testing, validation, and integration into the production environment.

• Understanding of NLP techniques and proven experience with text analytics, data parsing, Regex expressions and others. Research, evaluate and implement right algorithms and tools for NLP tasks. Fine-tune pretrained models for specific data sets through key words, rules and preferences.

• Leverage cloud-based architectures and technologies to deliver optimized models at scale.

• Remain updated in the rapidly changing field of machine learning. Knowledge of clinical related library and pretrained models is desired.

• Work independently with minimal supervision. May play a role as a technical lead and mentor other team members on the project. Effective communication skills with ability to explain, present and influence across the organization.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in a highly quantitative field (Computer Science, Machine Learning, Operational Research, Statistics, Mathematics, etc.) or equivalent degree and 6 or more years of experience; or any combination of education and experience in configuration management, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

• Python, SQL

• Master or Ph.D degree preferred

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $ 131,360.00 to $ 164,200.00
