Financial Reporting Carelon is responsible for providing business unit partners and CIOs with guidance on IT enablement strategies, aligning business. Manages Enterprise wide programs of $7 M - $10M+ size with multiple concurrent sub-projects or equal complexity. Responsible for applying project management knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to project deliverables, processes, and systems. In addition to all responsibilities of a project manager which include managing all aspects of a project including initiating, planning, executing, closing and controlling,
How you will make an impact:
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

Provides financial leadership and decision support/analysis to support the senior management team's achievement of the strategic goals.

Conducts analysis and reporting to understand trends, variances and identify opportunities for operational improvement.

Coordinates with Finance to prepare internal management reports and comprehensive analyses for financial and statistical results to support senior management decisions.

Support IT and business partners with budget management, financials and funding guidance.

Support partner evaluations (M&A, build-buy) by connecting IT & Business strategies and influencing adoption of Carelon technology differentiators into overall business strategy to Develop, Implement & Support strategic planning and roadmaps.

Advancing innovative solutions that support business growth.

IT partner for business ideation pipeline representing IT in solution ideation sessions.
Minimum Requirements:
-
Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 10 years project management experience in broad-based information systems, full life-cycle application development and/or building enterprise applications and/or data warehouse planning and development with 3 years leading and directing project task(s); or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Strongly prefer project management certification within one year of job placement and prior to moving to next level.

Requires experience in creating an effective team environment, building strong relationships, negotiation, solving problems and issues, resolving conflicts, managing resources in a matrix environment and communicating effectively at all levels of an organization. Requires experience working with project management tools, documentation tools, and reporting tools required.
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with portfolio management applications and Rational tools strongly preferred.
This role is part of Elevance Health Hybrid work schedule 0-3 days per month in the office for associates leaving within 50 miles of an Elevance Health Pulse Point
