Reporting to the CEO of Beacon Health Option, the Region Vice President (RVP) of Military OneSource is responsible for driving success and customer/account health across Military OneSource, while simultaneously leading the execution of the overall new business growth plan.

This leader will play a critical role in supporting corporate objectives and key targets related to customer retention, contract expansion the scaling of our business for growth. The RVP will set the vision and strategy for specific accounts, and articulate that vision and strategy throughout the organization. The leader is also accountable for the overall financial, sales, and operational performance of the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the short and long-term strategic business growth plans for the Military OneSource contract. 

  • Lead an experienced team of Behavioral Health Consultants (licensed professional social workers) in a call center environment.

  • Approximately 290 call center associates are geographically dispersed with a hub in Virginia, where the client is located.

  • Develop and implement extensive workforce planning initiatives for call center associates. 

  • Commitment to operational excellence and driving meaningful results.

  • Leverage business analytics and client performance data to develop and implement accountable, client action plans to meet and exceed service levels, medical loss ratio, and other key program performance expectations.

  • Engage strategic accounts at senior executive levels to develop, long-term, trusted-partner relationships. Enhance the customer experience by leveraging data, and expertise within Carelon Behavioral Health and across the industry in a consultative manner to help our customers maximize the value from their contract with Carelon Behavioral Health.

  • Build and cultivate strong client relationships & establish executive credibility with key stakeholders 

  • including clients, government agencies, and vendor partners.

  • Conduct regular analysis to understand strategic and tactical account needs across different functions 

  • such as clinical, operations, customer service, finance, human resources, and government relations.

  • Collaborate seamlessly with key stakeholders.

  • Be a thought leader to clients and prospects through up-to-date knowledge of state and federal programs & regulations and understanding key trends in the markets.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • 8-10 years of experience working in a client-facing role in a healthcare environment or business that is directly working with health plans providing clinical or administrative services

  • Significant, proven experience and references in building alliances

  • Military contracting experience 

  • Financial acumen with P&L ownership 

  • Must have experience leading high-performing call centers

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:

  • Advanced Degree preferred

  • Strong demonstrated leadership and communication skills with the ability to develop compelling written communications, term sheets 

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $172,720.00 to $310,896.00
