Clinical Services Assistant

Must reside in the state of Massachusetts.

The Clinical Services Assistant is responsible for providing non-clinical administrative support to clinical associates, managers, and clinical leads on the Northeast Access Line Clinical Call Center.  

How you will make an impact:

  • Answers the phones in accordance within provider guarantee time frames. .
  • Monitors unit workflow and processes and identifies opportunities for improvements.
  • Manages current statuses of Emergency Department boarding members.
  • Entering discharge reviews.
  • Removing members for the MABHA website and closing them out.
  • Provides administrative support to associates to help in identifying and resolving workflow and process issues.
  • Assists leads and management with the implementation of new and existing non-clinical policies and procedures.
  • Runs ad-hoc reports.
  • Provides user acceptance training coordination on new systems and enhancements, policies, and workflow related topics.
  • Provides administrative support including triaging help desk tickets,
  • Enter manual data and other special projects.
  • Build authorizations for prior approved cases when indicated.
  • Produce power point charts and Data reports.  . 

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires a high school diploma and a minimum of 1 years’ experience in a business or health care setting; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in a related field and prior experience in a healthcare or managed care environment preferred. Excellent phone skills, typing proficiency and Microsoft Excel use and ability to multitask and work in a high paced environment.
