JR67435 Project Leader
Responsible for developing project plans and leading small projects to completion. Communicates progress, issues, and barriers, to internal and external customers. Facilitates two-way communication including plans, status, progress, and barriers with contracted agencies, community stakeholders, across the Washington Carelon Behavioral Health team, and the Health Care Authority. Programs overseen by this role include the Recovery Navigator Program, Criminal Justice Treatment Account, Jail Transition Services, Assisted Outpatient Treatment, Trueblood Programs, and additional projects as assigned.
How will you make an impact:

Conducts periodic status meetings.

Conducts root cause analysis of processes and issues, identifies, and makes recommendations for improvements, and develops documentation.

Researches, compiles, extrapolates, and validates data used to forecast staffing needs and workflows, and/or resolve quality and other operational issues.

Assists in managing project scope to ensure business needs are met and the project scope as defined in the project charter is delivered, identifying, documenting, and raising requests for changes from original specifications.

Communicate plans, status, and issues within the team, group, or project, including both IT and business members and management.

Manages/monitors programs, including invoice tracking, and oversight of legislative fidelity to the programs.

Assists in managing program scope to ensure contracted and regulatory requirements are met.

Researches, compiles, extrapolates, and validates data used to forecast staffing needs and workflows, and/or resolve quality and other operational issues.

Plans, develops, and supports cross-systems implementation including supporting the development of policies and cross-agency agreements.

Identifies and makes recommendations for program improvements and develops supporting documentation.

Has a basic understanding of project management methodology, tools, and processes, and is able to apply these skills to projects of various sizes.

Responsible for developing project plans and leading projects of various sizes to completion.

Will need to be able to thrive independently and function well in a small-team environment.
Minimum requirements:
-
Requires a BA/BS in a related field and a minimum of 3 years’ experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:
-
A basic understanding of project management methodology, tools & processes, and the ability to apply them to small projects is strongly preferred.

A minimum of one year of project management oversight experience is preferred.

Ability to work a hybrid schedule in the state of Washington in person.
For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $75,400 to $90,480.
