Position Overview:

VBP Network Relations Consultant Sr within the LTSS provider relations team will be responsible for collaborating with MSPP VBP leadership on the development of VBP methodologies for home and community-based services, as well as providers of other Medicaid covered services to ensure that the organization is responsive to the needs and opportunities in each market.  

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Participates in all Payment Innovation VBP workgroups for assigned market and actively contribute to program development

  • Manages the provider recruiting and program onboarding processes

  • Communicates all program updates and changes to performance measures and reporting requirements from year to year

  • Ensures program LOAs and Program Descriptions are completed and manages the CMAP/State approval process

  • Develops and maintains positive provider relationships with provider community by regular on-site visits, communicating administrative and programmatic changes, and facilitating, education and the resolution of provider issues

  • Serving as a knowledge and resource expert regarding the most complex provider issues impacting provider satisfaction, researches and resolves the most complex provider issues and appeals for prompt resolution

  • Functions as a high level technical resource to resolve or facilitate complex provider issues

  • Identifies and reports on provider utilization patterns which have a direct impact on the quality of service delivery

  • Tracks and conduct provider refresher training

  • Researches issues that may impact future provider negotiations or jeopardize network retention

Required Qualifications:

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 5 years of customer service experience including 2 years experience as a Network Management Rep; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background

Preferred Qualifications:

  • IDD experience is a must  

  • Personal care experience strongly preferred

  • Arkansas Medicaid/PASSE Experience strongly preferred

  • Managed care/value based experience preferred
