Location : This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of our Richmond VA Elevance Health PulsePoint location
The Business Systems Analyst Advisor is responsible for collaborating with business and IT partners to facilitate and supporting the development of detailed scope statements and high level business requirements in development efforts.

Builds and maintains strong relationships with Business and IT partners.

Identifies and initiates opportunities to support business activities.

Leads the high-level requirements development process.

Supports elicitation/development of high-level and detailed business requirements for medium- to large-sized efforts.

Partners with Account Managers collaborating on business opportunities and solutions.

Collaborates with Account manager to develop that strengthen Account Manager effectiveness.

Supports the management of integrated (business, functional, and technical) requirements and design to ensure that all requirements have been gathered and proactively identifies opportunities for improvement in requirements gathering, documentation, and translation.

Supports development of customer strategy plans and technology solutions to meet business requirements.

Identifies and manages risks and develops contingency plans to resolve issues that impact business objectives.

Anticipates and identifies customer needs and matches products and services to facilitate the fulfillment of those needs across medium, complex technology initiatives.
Minimum Requirements:
-
Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 6 years experience in a variety of technologies, documenting requirements and/or building test cases; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst certifications strongly preferred.

Experience with mainframe computer, hardware and operating systems and the impacts of changes in the systems stream, testing/product quality processes, tools and methods strongly preferred.

Experience with Rational tools, Six Sigma or other process improvement training strongly preferred.
