Location: * Our preferred candidate will be in proximity to our Atlanta, GA office or our Indianapolis, IN office.

*However, any highly qualified and skilled candidate located in the United States near an Elevance Health Major Office (PulsePoint) will be considered. Proximity to an Elevance Health PulsePoint is required for this position.

This position will take part in Elevance Health's hybrid work model which includes remote work and 4-10 days in office per month. The typical expectation for this position is that you will go into the office twice (2 times) per week. Elevance Health supports a hybrid workplace model with pulse point sites used for collaboration, community, and connection.

The Learning Experience Designer Sr – Leadership Development is responsible for analyzing, designing, developing, and implementing exceptional leadership development virtual, in-person, and digital learning experiences for all levels of leadership across the enterprise.

How You Will Make an Impact

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Collaborate with business partners and subject matter experts to develop exceptional development virtual, in-person, and digital learning experiences for all levels of leaders, including video or content that is accessible anytime and very interactive with the learner.

  • Complete needs analysis and recommend effective learning solutions.

  • Apply creativity and learning design principles to oversee the production of effective learning experiences that improve the performance of revenue teams through the development of key knowledge and application of role specific skills.

  • Create and design various materials for learning and enablement collateral, including but not limited to presentation materials, participant and trainer guides, on-the-job learning, peer and social learning, handouts, job aids, storytelling, audio, video, simulations, role-plays, and games with expertise supporting learning and reinforcement in the flow of work.

  • Design visual elements to support storytelling and engagement of learners on complex topics.

  • Collaborate with other content developers, graphic designers, technology consultants, technologists, and other project team members on design, development, implementation, and evaluation of learning solutions.

  • Use all approved processes, tools, and templates to standard for development and reporting. Actively maintain all content.

  • Design using agile methodology and receive feedback openly with curiosity to create the best product. Participate in quality review processes for team members and provide feedback candidly and constructively.

  • Lead sub-teams, communities of practice, and other opportunities to enhance knowledge and skill.

  • Facilitate train-the-trainer sessions, meetings, and other events.

  • Oversee the lifecycle management of information, providing updates to content and learning experiences as needed and handling change management.

  • Develops project plans, functional specifications, and schedules.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires BA/BS in Computer Sciences, Instructional Technology, or related field and a minimum of 4 years of web design/development experience and a minimum of 5 years’ experience supporting a training/learning organization; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:

  • Experience in designing and developing leadership development content and courses is necessary for success in this role.

  • In depth experience in leadership development and/or leadership programs strongly preferred.

  • Master’s degree preferred.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $66,240 to $132,480.
