IT Strategy & Innovation Director
The IT Strategy & Innovation Director is responsible for providing business unit partners and CIOs with guidance on IT enablement strategies, aligning business.
How you will make an impact:

Align strategies with the overarching IT strategies and advancing technology solutions to support business growth and opportunities.

Own and communicate product vision for the Core HCM functions and define, recommend, prioritize, and implement solutions aligning to strategic goals.

Work closely with stakeholders and internal technology partners and include industry best practices to architect technology solutions needed to drive alignment of business needs and lead discussions to arrive at mutually agreeable solution options and integrations.

Establish project management discipline and governance processes to support initiatives end to end from project planning through testing to delivery to ensure a successful end-user experience for all new deployments and on-going maintenance of Workday/ServiceNow and integrations.

Work with technical resources to maintain platform health and look for continuous improvement options, as well as assist with troubleshooting/resolution of escalated product issues.

Act as the conduit between Technology and business partners to keep the project moving.

Perform partner evaluation (M&A, build-buy activities).

Support the commercialized model where Carelon is developing software/portfolios of digital and technical solutions/products.

Create and maintain product and release requirements backlog.

Work with the global process owners to negotiate and prioritize enhancements rolled out to the organization as well as continue to monitor the security, efficiency, and effectiveness of the solutions.

Proactively identify, resolve, or bring up issues, concerns, and impediments to get the project developed with efficiency and maximum effectiveness.

Serve as the ambassador for Carelon IT and business units to the innovation and digital teams.

Assist with transformation stage gates.

Support IT and business partners with budget management, financials, and funding guidance.

Represent IT in client facing discussions to drive growth and retention.

Support partner evaluations (M&A, build-buy) by connecting IT and business strategies and influencing adoption of Carelon technology differentiators into overall business strategy to develop, implement and support strategic planning and roadmaps.

Advance innovative solutions that support business growth.

IT partner for business ideation pipeline representing IT in solution ideation sessions.

Influence the delivery of new technology solutions to market faster.
Minimum Requirements:
-
Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 15 years of experience in technology, product management, strategic planning, and/or consulting, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

Workday and ServiceNow knowledge and experience strongly preferred.

Experience in a healthcare or health plan environment strongly preferred.
