Business Analyst III
The Business Analyst III will be responsible for serving as the liaison between the business and IT in translating complex business needs into application software.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

Analyzes complex end user needs to determine optimal means of meeting those needs.

Determines specific business application software requirements to address complex business needs.

Develops project plans and identifies and coordinates resources, involving those outside the unit.

Works with programming staff to ensure requirements will be incorporated into system design and testing.

Acts as a resource to users of the software to address questions/issues.

May provide direction and guidance to team members and serves as an expert for the team.
Minimum Qualifications:
-
Requires a BA/BS and minimum of 5 years business analysis experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Knowledge of systems capabilities and business operations is strongly preferred.
-
SQL abilities to support frequent analysis of data trends affecting business processes.

Excellent communication skills.
-
Ability to manage deliverables and effectively communicate across functional audiences (IT and business).
-
Extensive experience in requirements elicitation and writing.
-
User acceptance testing experience on complex system enhancements, including designing test cases.

Ability to critically analyze and interpret business scenarios, RFPs, contracts, and technical documentation.
-
Progressive experience with Medicaid Enrollment systems (Facets or WGS) and associated operational processes.

Experience working with Enrollment EDI files (834/proprietary).
-
Advanced Excel skills, including proficiency with formulas and pivot tables.

Experience working within Agile framework.

Jira and Confluence experience.
-
SharePoint proficiency, including creating and maintaining pages and lists
