Location : The territory for this position is the East Region. Therefore, the selected candidate must reside in GA, VA, NJ, NY, CT, ME, or NH. Residing in Virginia is highly preferred.

How you will make an impact:

The Specialty Sales Broker Director is responsible for planning, directing, and controlling the resources and efforts of external brokers/brokers to accomplish the sales objectives of the Medicare business unit. Responsible for generating 30,000 medical sales and 10,000 Part D sales annually. Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Manages resources effectively and efficiently to support Medicare strategic sales goals.
  • Develops and maintains effective business relationships with brokers.
  • Reports sales status and progress to Medicare Management.
  • Ensures achievement of sales production goals and deliverables for assigned territory.
  • Implements the policies, practices, and procedures of Medicare.
  • Has fiscal responsibility for an assigned marketing budget.
  • Establishes relationships with functional areas within Medicare.
  • Responsible for establishing and building workflow structure within Medicare East Region.
  • Responsible for meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Recruits, trains, certifies, and creates strategic marketing programs for brokers within geographic territory to generate new business sales and increase market penetration. Works with Staff VP, Sales to establish sales targets for assigned territory.
  • Develops sales and business development strategies for assigned territory.
  • Monitors the market performance of products and assesses competitors' activities within assigned territory.
  • Develops recommendations to senior management on the marketplace dynamics, including, but not limited to: broker compensation; compliance; and competition.
  • Establishes and maintains expertise in product environment.

Minimum Requirements: Requires a BA/BS and a minimum of 8 years of experience in sales/marketing management in health care; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Qualification, Skills & Experiences: Experience with Medicare Brokers is required. Excellent managerial and leadership skills strongly preferred.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $96,640 to $173,952
