Cloud IAM Advisor

The Cloud IAM Advisor will be a key member of the cyber security team and will work closely and partner with multiple separate groups to increase automation within the identity space.

  
How you will make an impact:   

  • Design a cloud native infrastructure environment in AWS from development environments through production environments utilizing identity and cybersecurity best practices.

  • Execute and automate identity provisioning and deprovisioning processes quickly, accurately, and securely.

  • Provide subject matter expertise for AWS Identity & Access Management services, entities, configuration, and best practices.

  • Develop end-to-end architecture for the IAM Cloud Solutions to meet the organization’s control, security, and business needs.

  • Write and deploy code to different cloud providers such as GCP, AWS and Azure in an automated fashion.

  • Mentor and consult with peers and customers.

  • Configure systems and application monitoring, define alerts, and build appropriate dashboards.

  • Integrate security tools, standards, and processes into cloud environments for IAM.

  • Create new standards and best practices to increase effectiveness and visibility across a diverse environment.

  • Automate IAM tasks such as policy creation, role creation, and SCP’s.

  • Design, development, and documentation of all processes and procedures.

  • Provide first level engineering design functions and trouble resolution.

  • Provide trouble resolution and serve as point of technical escalation on complex problems.

  • Lead or plan implementations for access management and network security technologies.

  • Develop testing plans to ensure quality of implementation.

  • Lead the investigation and reporting of data security events and incidents.

  • Provide system and network architecture support for information and network security technologies.

  • Provide technical support to business and technology associates in risk assessments and implementation of appropriate information security procedures, standards, and technologies.

  • Maintain security incident response plans.

  • Design and engineer repetitive technical solutions based on business requirements and defined technology standards.

Minimum Requirements:   

  • Requires BS/BA degree in Information Technology or related field of study and a minimum of 5 years of experience in systems support, system administration, system engineering, system security, access management, network security, network communications, computer networking, telecommunications, systems development and management, hardware, software, and/or data; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

  • 5+ years of other cloud experience (GCP/Azure) strongly preferred.

  • Software development / scripting languages experience such as C# / Java / Python / PowerShell strongly preferred.

  • 3+ years hands on experience with AWS strongly preferred.

  • AWS Certified Solution Architect or equivalent strongly preferred.

  • Terraform and cloud environment experience strongly preferred.

  • Experience automating and launching products within Cybersecurity and Cloud Environments.

  • Automated solutions experience that is enterprise grade and focused on a consistent user experience preferred.

  • Experience delivering outcomes through agile software delivery preferred.

  • Knowledge and experience with identity and access management (IAM) concepts preferred. 

  • Understanding and knowledge of IAM principles for GCP, AWS and Azure preferred.

  • Familiarity with IT control processes around risk and compliance preferred.

  • Familiarity with security domain concepts such as SAML, OAUTH, OIDC, LDAP, SSO, ADFS, and federation flow preferred.

  • Experience with privileged access solutions preferred.

  • Experience managing delivery of full-stack technical solutions preferred.

  • Exposure to agile product management including the ability to set vision, establish a roadmap, set goals, write user stories, and execute preferred.
