Position Title: Bio Plus Security & Safety Manager

Locations: Candidates must reside within 50 miles or 1-hour commute each way of ONE of the following locations. Candidates are expected to go into the office Monday through Friday.

The Bio Plus Security & Safety Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day development, deployment, and integration of assigned functional areas, and manages and measures functional processes that will support the overall business in an efficient and effective manner.

How You Will Make an Impact

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Monitor and mitigate security and occupational safety events on a daily basis and identify potential security & safety threats.

  • Establish vision, direction, and specific objectives for team efforts; encourage collaboration.

  • Promote HR and Global Security & Safety policies and procedures in people management activities.

  • Conduct communications that involve obtaining cooperation on issues that may be complex or controversial.

  • Utilize negotiation and persuasion to come to agreement with others.

  • Conduct external communications with a high level of interpersonal and negotiation skills to build effective long-term relationships typically with middle level contacts in customer and vendor organizations.

  • Accountable for the effective delivery of Physical Security projects to achieve the strategic and operational plan.

  • Up to 5% travel may be required.

Minimum Requirements

Requires BA/BS degree 10 years of experience within Security Management, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences

  • Experience with ProWatch preferred.

  • Experience with exacqVision preferred.
