Systems Analyst Advisor – Data Management

Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and in office one day per week). Ideal candidates will live within 50 miles of one of our Pulse Point locations in Iselin, NJ, Indianapolis, IN, Atlanta, GA, Chicago, IL, Richmond, VA, Roanoke, VA, Norfolk, VA, Mason, OH, Portland, ME, St. Louis, MO, Wallingford, CT or Louisville, KY.

The Systems Analyst Advisor – Data Management is responsible for defining and managing the scope of business systems projects related to data consolidation and standardization.

How you will make an impact:

  • Defines functional, usability, reliability, performance, and support requirements to increase data transparency and to promote better use of data assets.

  • Creates a data governance strategy to acquire, use, and manages data assets in alignment with Enterprise standards.

  • Establishes and operates a data governance policy and governance structure.

  • Reviews and recommends initiatives that reduce data risks and data management costs.

  • Facilitates data alignment and standardization.

  • Facilitates communications on overall data strategy and data governance program.

  • Creates and performs feature testing and determines environmental needs.

  • Partners with business, architecture and infrastructure and oversees all service levels to ensure business area satisfaction.

  • Works with the IT learning organization to mentor and assist in training initiatives and performs estimates for data functionality enhancements.

  • Proactively works with stakeholders to identify future opportunities and enhancements and develops use cases.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 6 years of experience in a variety of technologies, documenting requirements and/or building test cases; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

  • Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst certifications strongly preferred.

  • Experience with Datawarehouse, hardware and operating systems and the impacts of changes in the systems stream, testing/product quality processes, tools and methods strongly preferred.

  • Experience with Tableau or similar reporting tool strongly preferred.
