Software Engineering Intern
Location: Indianapolis, IN & Atlanta, GA
This is a hybrid position, with preference for the candidate to be located within 50 mi of our Atlanta, GA or Indianapolis, IN Elevance Health office.
A Software Engineering Intern will be responsible for designing and developing technology solutions for enterprise programs by interacting with business and technical resources to support the delivery of technical enterprise deliverables.
Functions OR examples of projects for this role:

Developing Technical solutions from business requirements utilizing modern programming languages, robotics and/or data analytics

Analyzing data / building reports for existing applications

Working with our cyber security group to identify and address vulnerabilities
Minimum Requirements:
-
Ability to work 40 hour per week 8 hours per day May 20 to August 9

Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related field at an accredited college/university

Students must be authorized to work in the U.S. without future visa sponsorship requirements
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

Strongly prefer experience with: Java, SQL, .NET/C#; Python, Service Oriented Architecture, Oracle, SQL Server, Workflows;

Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

Excellent Communication skills, both written and oral.

Excellent Problem-solving, Analytical, and Organizational skills

Possess strong analytical/problem solving skills

Strong understanding of technical issues within both business and IT environments
