Location: The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles to an Elevance Health office.
Hybrid Workplace Strategy: 1-2 days in office per week, remainder work from home
The Senior Program Manager is responsible for the development and management of multiple programs simultaneously, which span multiple states and markets and various care delivery models.
How you will make an impact:
- Incorporate new products and/or services and reinforce standardization for a scalable and efficient new market, service area expansion.
- Works with stakeholders and team members to continuously improve end to end execution effectiveness.
- Drives more efficient and effective delivery and continuous improvement by utilizing feedback and metrics to identify areas of opportunity.
- Facilitates team transparency by escalating impediments and shares progress by the team to the appropriate channels and provides recommendations for problem resolution to ensure program execution remains on track and on budget.
- Actively engaged in defining solutions and new processes and managing action items, identifying issues and risks, adjusting scope, and identifying tasks necessary to complete planned work.
- Provides mentoring and coaching to Program Managers.
- Helps stakeholders to funnel opportunities (seeking to leverage the Data Platform) through Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) process, reporting status of Data Platform efforts aligned to PLM product concepts.
- Collaborate with business units and PLM concept product managers to build and evaluate business cases for new data and analytics enabled products and services, helping to ensure alignment with PLM stage gate and reporting expectations.
- Collaborates with Data Platform Product team and other stakeholders to coordinate solution architecture and level of effort analysis in support of PLM funnel.
Requirements:
Requires a BA/BS and minimum of 7 years experience in external client facing program management, project management; complex business processes, strategic and business planning; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills & Abilities:
Project management certification (PMP) preferred. Comfortable with Project financial management and demonstrated ability to work effectively/collaboratively across teams.
