Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). Ideal candidates will live in the state of Indiana within 50 miles of the Indianapolis, IN PulsePoint.

The Manager Strategic Vendor Management is responsible for managing and coordinating one or more vendor engagements.  

How you will make an impact:

  • Manage and oversee vendor management initiatives including monitoring service levels, ensuring compliance, and identifying opportunities to develop and implement process improvements.
  • Make recommendations to leadership on vendor strategies.  
  • Helps to ensure both organizational objectives and vendor initiatives are implemented.
  • Sets operational priorities and manages resources to achieve operational goals.
  • Contributes to budgetary goal setting and oversight.
  • Develops and maintains strategic partnerships with vendors.
  • Partners with Sourcing on contract management negotiations and renewal.
  • Acts as a liaison between the business and vendors.
  • Consults with business leaders and project sponsors to identify business and vendor needs and to ensure alignment with strategic direction, priorities, and the delivery of business value.
  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires BA/BS in Business or related field; 7+ years of experience in consulting, vendor management, and negotiations; a minimum of 2 years of experience in program management; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide and equivalent background.  

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

  • Master’s degree in Business or related field, and prior leadership/management experience, preferred.
