The Internal Audit Manager is responsible for coordinating and directing operational/financial audit team in timely completion of deliverables of annual Master Audit Plan (MAP) and special projects. Reviews and provides effective feedback on audit deliverables developed by audit team. 

How You Will Make an Impact:

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to: 

•Assists internal audit management in development of MAP and status reporting to executives. 
•Assigns work to auditors on specific audits, reviews their work and provides guidance and training. 
•Develops audit procedures that provide for the evaluation of the system of internal controls adopted within the business. 
•Checks the accuracy and reliability of accounting data and monitors adherence to prescribed policies. 
•Directs, counsels and instructs the auditors assigned to the team, reviews their work for sufficiency of scope and for accuracy. 
•Performs written reports on the results of audits, including exceptions found and recommendations for corrective action. 
•Reviews audit reports and updates to audits. 
•Preforms continuous and annual risk assessment


•Requires a BA/BS in accounting or finance and a minimum of 5 years directly related work experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

•Working experience with Visio, Word, and Excel.
•Working knowledge of Medicare rules and regulations a plus.
