**This is an Individual Contributor role.
The Project Leader (Ohio Medicaid, Managed Care) is responsible for developing project plans and leading small projects to completion.
How will you make an impact:
Communicate progress, issues, and barriers, to internal and external customers.
Conduct periodic status meetings.
Conducts root cause analysis of processes and issues, identify and make recommendations for improvements, and develops documentation.
Research, compile, extrapolate and validate data used to forecast staffing needs and work flows, and/or resolve quality and other operational issues.
Assist in managing project scope to ensure business needs are met and the project scope as defined in the project charter is delivered, identifying, documenting and raising requests for changes from original specifications.
Communicate plans, status, and issues within the team, group, or project, including both IT and business members and management.
Has basic understanding of project management methodology, tools & processes and able to apply to small projects.
Requires a BA/BS in a related field and a minimum 3 years of experience in leading projects; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Occasional local travel may be required.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
Basic understanding of project management methodology, tools & processes and able to apply to small projects is strongly preferred.
Working knowledge of delegation agreements preferred.
Managed Care experience.
Experience in Clinical Operations.
