Lex Frieden Internship Program
Launched in 2018, our Lex Frieden Internship Program is designed to promote the inclusion of students with disabilities. This 10-week, full-time program offers participating interns the opportunity to work on impactful projects while receiving career planning support, soft skills training, and disability competency. Interns also get paired with a mentor based on their interests and background. If you’re a student with a disability, this program is a great way to learn the ins and outs of an industry-leading business while preparing yourself for an extraordinary career after you graduate.

Diversity Scholars Internship Program
Through our partnership with UNCF, we hire and develop interns who are studying at HBCUs. In close collaboration with the UNCF Scholar Summer Series, we offer our Diversity Scholars rewarding learning opportunities, networking events, and extensive professional development. Students can even be awarded scholarships through the Elevance Health Foundation.

We Are Here To Answer Your Questions
What are the requirements?
You are at least 18 years of age (unless part of an approved/sponsored program) and currently enrolled in an accredited US college or university. For actuarial students, sitting for or having at least one exam completed by the time of your interview is an advantage.
Does the internship offer benefits?
Because internships are temporary positions, the only benefits offered at this time are access to our onsite fitness facilities and the ability to contribute to a 401(k). We also offer opportunities to get connected and receive mentorship through our various Business Resource Groups.
How long do your internships last?
We offer internships that are 3 months, 6 months, and part-time during the school year. Our opportunities are based on business needs and student availability.
Can I speak to someone in HR?
Our team participates in various on-campus events throughout the year and, from time to time, hosts meetings in our offices.
