Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The AI Senior Machine Learning Scientist is responsible for most complex Artificial Intelligence (AI) machine learning projects that gather and integrate large volumes of data.
How you will make an impact:
Perform analysis, interpret results, and develop actionable insights and recommendations for use across the company.
Develop and maintain infrastructure systems that connect internal data sets.
Create new data collection frameworks for structured and unstructured data.
Handle piping and processing massive data-streams in distributed computing environments, such as Hadoop, to facilitate analysis.
Develop proprietary machine learning algorithms to build customized solutions that go beyond standard industry tools and lead to innovative solutions.
Provide high-level controllership/ evaluation of all output produced to ensure established targets are met.
Determine the continuous improvement opportunities of current predictive modeling algorithms.
Execute algorithms to address specific business problems.
Develop visualization of analysis output for business users and publish results.
Perform independent research on various machine learning algorithms/ methodologies and be able to formulate them to solve business problems.
Collaborate and negotiate with stakeholders to drive optimal business decision making based on empirical evidence.
Assist other Machine Learning Scientists with development and implementation of machine learning algorithms and data modeling.
Understand and implement causal inference methodologies using observational data.
Assist in determining cause and effect relations.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Operational Research, Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field of study.
Additional Requirements:
Six (6) years of Information Technology (IT) experience, or related.
Six (6) years of required Information Technology (IT) experience, or related must include:
ETL Architecture; Programming languages such as: Python, Shell Scripting, object-oriented programming; Unix; Solution Architecture in the context of ModelOps; Real-Time Applications in the context of ModelOps.
Relational database SQL skills, including: optimization techniques; Leveraging at least 4 of the following technologies: HDFS, Hive, Sqoop, MapReduce, Impala, Spark.
Defining project solution approach in a team environment using Agile methodologies.
Alternate Education/Experience Requirements:
Employer will accept a Master’s degree plus four (4) years of related experience. Must have skills listed above.
For candidates working in person or virtually in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $188,885 - $189,885
