Business Analyst II
Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote & office). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint office locations.
The Business Analyst II is responsible for configurating pharmacy benefits in our coding systems against business criteria. The primary focus is to work in Salesforce/COM2 to review requirements from Sales and account teams. Responsible to code/configure benefits while working closely with both onshore and offshore teams.
How You Will Make An Impact:
- Consult with business partners concerning the application and implementation of pharmacy benefit programs.
- Recognize, analyze, and design solutions to address complex and varied business needs.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risk.
- Analyze and interpret data and make recommendations for change based on pharmacy operations procedures, system requirements, judgment, and experience.
- Analyzes business needs to determine optimal means of meeting those needs.
- Determines specific business application software requirements to address specific business needs.
- Works with programming staff to ensure requirements will be incorporated into system design and testing.
- Acts as liaison with users of the software to address questions/issues.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a BA/BS and minimum of 3 years related business analysis experience, or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities & Experiences:
- Pharmacy plan benefit coding experience highly preferred.
- Pharmacy operations experience preferred.
- An in-depth understanding of pharmacy benefit design preferred.
- Knowledge of systems capabilities, and business operations; including internal systems, Excel, Word, Visio, Outlook, PowerPoint, MS Teams, SharePoint, JIRA, and Salesforce is strongly preferred.
- Facilitation, with impressive oral and written communication highly preferred.
- Experience with reporting and analytics preferred.
