Business Architect Executive
Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office 1-2 days a week). Ideal candidates will live within 50 miles of our Elevance Health Pulse Point locations in Norfolk, VA, Atlanta, GA, Indianapolis, IN, Chicago, IL, Dallas, TX, Mason, OH or Tampa, FL.
The Business Architect Executive drives and completes the business architecture portion of business blueprints, including establishing guiding principles, defining capabilities, performing functional analysis/definition, analyzing and documenting the value chain, and assessing organizational impacts.
How you will make an Impact:
Contributes to providing linkage to other Enterprise Architecture groups and models.
Coordinates and aligns activities to achieve the future state capabilities with Business Relationship Management (BRM).
Owns creation of Business Context Diagrams (BCD) for programs and projects that present a graphical depiction of relationships among business stakeholders involved in the solution.
Influences direction of Enterprise portfolio planning and its impact to Business Architecture constructs.
Defines a common process for how projects are assessed against business architecture artifacts and blueprints; incorporate into overall architecture governance process.
Communicates and builds consensus equally effectively with all constituents, including business executives, technologists, end users, and operations.
Minimum Qualifications:
Requires an BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or related field of study and a minimum of 10 years experience in Business analysis and strategic planning; IT operations, planning, or leadership; or strategic and technical architecture with 7 years of experience in architecture/design in relevant technology disciplines; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:
Enterprise Architect related certification strongly preferred.
Experience in health care industry strongly preferred.
Experience with Provider Data Systems preferred.
Background in Data Modeling, Data Analysis and Data Query preferred.
Exposure to AI Systems preferred.
Multiple platform experience - SQL, Oracle, Tableau, Cloud, etc. preferred.
