Business Information Consultant (Product Owner)
Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered.
The Business Information Consultant (Product Owner) is responsible for serving as an expert in Value Based Health program data, data analysis, reporting and formulating recommendations and providing guidance to Agile development teams.
How You Will Make An Impact:
- Works in an Agile environment to define business needs, prioritize stories, perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT), define milestones and deliverables, and identify and mitigate risks to the plan.
- Collaborate with developers and business partners in an Agile environment to build an industry-leading Risk platform.
- Understand requirements of the evolving Value Based Care program ecosystem and translate those business requirements to partner IT teams in an Agile Environment.
- Translates product roadmaps into defined story requirements including detailed Acceptance Criteria, technical descriptions and test plans.
- Leads high-visibility enterprise projects to ensure product designs are consistent across application sub-teams and in-line with stakeholder expectations.
- Creates and publishes periodic reports, as well as any necessary ad hoc reports.
- Collaborates with businesses and technical areas to implement new or enhanced products.
- Use Analytic tools to evaluate patterns and trends in Value-Based Program Populations.
- Analyzes data and summarizes performance using summary statistical procedures.
- Develops and analyzes business performance reports (e.g. for claims data, provider data, utilization data) and provides notations of performance deviations and anomalies.
- Develops cross-functional perspective to identify gaps and connecting the dots.
- Assists with handover to business users and field questions
- May require taking business issues and devising best way to develop appropriate diagnostic and/or tracking data that will translate business requirements into usable decision support tools.
- May provide analytic consultation to other business areas, leadership or external customers.
- Works independently often on several concurrent projects.
- Comfortable working in a rapidly changing environment with ability to pivot when necessary.
- Assists with handover to business users and field questions.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a BS/BA degree in related field and a minimum of 5 years experience; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experience:
- Experience with Agile methodology, developing test cases, understanding complex business requirements and technical solutions, etc.
- Experience with relational databases and knowledge of query tools (SAS, SQL, R, Python) and statistical software is highly preferred.
- Experience leading large Agile development teams preferred
- Strong analytical, organizational, presentation, and problem solving skills.
For candidates working in person or virtually in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $84,588 to $153,594.
