Business Performance Management Director - Enterprise HEDIS
Alternate locations may be considered. This position will work in a hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of an Elevance Health PulsePoint location.
The Business Performance Management Director - Enterprise HEDIS provides strategic analysis of all internal performance reporting on a business unit and overall, HOO HEDIS basis. Facilitates the achievement of all corporate financial requirements by identifying, implementing and tracking key metrics and performance indicators for all aspects of the business.
How you will make an impact:
• Creates methodologies and processes to implement and track key performance metrics across all segments of the business.
• Leads the development of key performance indicators and scorecards and ensures that progress against all metrics is reported uniformly across all segments of the business.
• Synthesizes and assimilates external sales, financial, economic/demographic, and industry conditions to advise the leadership team on tracking and identifying opportunities to achieve growth targets.
• Creates and maintains clear lines of communication with business leaders, finance, and actuarial.
• Collaborates on the standardization, maintenance and optimization of comprehensive performance reporting.
• Contributes to the strategic planning process throughout the SBU by integrating financial and operational targets with strategic business performance analysis.
• This position will frequently work with other members of the Comprehensive Health Solutions Leadership Team to prepare or assess presentations or other documents for senior leadership that require broad scope as well as intimate knowledge of the detailed workings of the company.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a BA/BS and a minimum of 10 years of increasingly responsible financial, project and/or operational experience in healthcare; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
The following experience is strongly preferred:
o Data governance structures
o HEDIS audits and Primary Source Verification (PSV)
o Improving data quality of large source systems
o Working with HEDIS software, coding and specifications
o Intimate knowledge of HEDIS regulatory requirements
o Working in a matrixed environment
o Government quality programs, inclusive of Medicaid value capture, Medicare Stars, and Exchange QRS and QTI measures.
