Location: Richmond VA, Norfolk VA

Hours: Monday - Friday

Travel: This role requires associates to be in-office 1 day per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered.


Position Overview:

Responsible for leading efforts in optimizing and supporting business systems within the Health Benefits Operations team, including complex application support, data analysis, prompt design and configuration.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Provide expert business process design of systems and solutions

  • Building the bridge between Business and Technology

  • Determines and optimizes prompts for predicting and generating content

  • Identifies new technology to enhance, solve and configure business challenges

  • Manages aggressive schedules for system implementations

  • Conducts In-depth analysis of business needs

  • Leads technical aspects of projects and understand business goals

  • Tracking and reporting on progress made to internal and external stake holders

Required Qualifications:

  • Requires a BA/BS and minimum of 5 years’ experience in leading technology projects, which should include analysis and project management; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in digital and AI technologies, product management, and health insurance industry experience is a must

  • Expert level experience identifying gaps and proposing solutions through multidepartment collaboration (Ops and IT) is a must

  • Excellent communication skills demonstrated by leading cross-functional training and workshops to large groups strongly preferred

  • Excellent Data analysis experience strongly preferred

  • Proficiency with configuration management tools such as: JIRA, WGS, Salesforce

  • Familiarity with compliance and regulatory standards applicable to configuration roles 

  • Demonstrated history of improving/reducing system errors or improving efficiencies strongly preferred

  • PMP preferred
