Location: Richmond VA, Norfolk VA

Hours: Monday - Friday

Travel: This role requires associates to be in-office 3-4 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered.


Position Overview:

Responsible for managing projects to ensure all business deployment activities are completed timely and accurately, including documentation, training, change communication, backout plans, and control plans.

How You Will Make an Impact:

  • Evaluating and documenting how emerging digital technologies are used to achieve organizational objectives

  • Manages projects to optimize and maintain business solutions, including developing and testing new feature-sets that improve overall accuracy of predictive models, prompt design and configuration

  • Evaluate emerging technologies to support organizational strategies and objectives

  • Partners with operational leaders and IT to establish a pipeline of high impact transformation opportunities

  • Evaluates the feasibility of opportunities and development business cases to support investment

  • Oversees the activities of business analytics and business requirements, to ensure successful implementation

  • Tracking value realization and sign-off from business on value and outcomes

  • Monitors project timelines and performance of all deployed transformation initiatives to ensure optimization

  • Structure/deploy teams as needed to meet business requirements and demand

Required Qualifications:

  • Requires a BA/BS in a related field and minimum of 9 years professional technical project management experience, which at least 7 years are spent leading and directing large project tasks; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PMP or Lean Six sigma certification is a must

  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, having led executive-level presentations or discussions that influenced decision-making for projects exceeding a $2 million budget.

  • Proficiency in digital and AI technologies, product management, and health insurance industry experience strongly preferred  

  • Expert level experience identifying gaps and proposing solutions through multidepartment collaboration (Ops and IT) is a must

  • Excellent communication skills demonstrated by leading cross-functional training and workshops to large groups strongly preferred

  • Excellent Data analysis experience strongly preferred

  • Proficiency with configuration management tools such as: JIRA, WGS, Salesforce

  • Proven track record of ensuring compliance and regulatory standards maintaining 100% Audit accuracy

  • Demonstrated history of improving/reducing system errors or improving efficiencies strongly preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic configuration frameworks increasing system utilization rates
