Responsible for driving growth by directing sales and retention strategy for the Utilization Management services offered through Carelon’s MBM Solution Suite, which represent a high-value proposition for its customers.
Location: Field: This field-based role enables associates to primarily operate in the field, traveling to client sites or designated locations as their role requires, with occasional office attendance for meetings or training. This approach ensures flexibility, responsiveness to client needs, and direct, hands-on engagement.

How will you make an impact:
Establishes, builds, and nurtures executive-level relationships at targeted accounts to introduce Carelon’s Utilization Management solutions.
Engages with existing clients to drive growth opportunities and collaborates closely with Account Teams to strengthen relationships and expand sales within those accounts.
Pursues new prospects to broaden Carelon’s customer base and increase market presence.
Develops and executes strategies that achieve sales and financial goals while ensuring alignment with enterprise objectives.
Directs and coordinates account sales activities related to Carelon’s MBM Solution Suite.
Leads efforts related to contracting and implementation to ensure seamless client onboarding and delivery.
Builds and leverages C-suite relationships to provide innovative solutions to complex business challenges.
Ensures all sales activity, pipeline progress, and client interactions are accurately maintained in the CRM tool.
Consistently manages a robust sales pipeline and supports finalist opportunities for new business and account retention.
Travels frequently to client locations and industry events to build relationships, pursue new opportunities, and support client engagement.
Minimum requirements:
Requires a BS/BA degree in related field with a minimum of 10 years related experience to include senior sales experience and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in strategic planning; or any combination of education and experience which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:
Experience in Utilization Management, Medical Benefits Management, or healthcare solution sales is highly preferred.
Extensive knowledge of health insurance and payer markets is strongly preferred.
Travels to worksite, client locations, and other sites as necessary.
