Community Relations Representative III
Location: This role involves working four days a week in Medicaid Region 2 (ex. Guilford county) and nearby regions. One day each week will be spent working virtually from home.
Field: This field-based role enables associates to primarily operate in the field, traveling to client sites or designated locations as their role requires, with occasional office attendance for meetings or training. This approach ensures flexibility, responsiveness to client needs, and direct, hands-on engagement.
Some Saturday work required.
The Community Relations Representative III is responsible for coordinating and supervising the implementation of strategies related to specific business programs, products, territory or expansion.
How you will make an impact:
Develops and maintains a positive working relationship with the member population for the primary purpose of increasing enrollment and decreasing disenrollment.
Ensures consistent compliance with state, federal, and company specific requirements.
Develops a standard process for assessing the feasibility and development of sponsored event programs.
Conducts marketing activities, events, exhibits, education, and presentations in an effort to gain members and maintain and/or establish relationships with providers, community, and faith based organizations.
Identifies and enlists the cooperation of individuals, groups, social service agencies and other community organizations in educational and outreach activities.
Identifies cultural issues regarding current and potential members; communicate those issues and concerns to management immediately.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires an AA/AS degree and a minimum of 4 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
BA/BS preferred.
Experience/familiarity with North Carolina Medicaid product preferred.
Experience/knowledge of the North Carolina foster care system preferred.
Experience with PowerPoint, Excel, and Word strongly preferred.
Valid driver's license and access to a motor vehicle with valid motor vehicle insurance required.
