CORO Product Owner (Product Management Director)
Location: This role requires associates to be in-office 3 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. Alternate locations may be considered.
The CORO Product Owner will become an integral part of the Elevance Health team, responsible for defining, prioritizing, and managing the development of products aimed at enhancing healthcare delivery and operations. This role requires a blend of technical savvy and business acumen to represent the needs of the stakeholders and guide the development team in delivering high-quality product increments.
How you will make an impact:
- Owns and prioritizes the product backlog to ensure that the highest value features are delivered in alignment with business goals and stakeholder needs.
- Develops, implements and maintains competitive product platform.
- Partners with Scrum Master and development team to plan sprints, ensuring clear communication of the user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Gathers and incorporates feedback from stakeholders, including healthcare professionals, business managers, and end-users to refine product features.
- Supports the development of short and long term strategic product plans in support of market, sales and profitability objectives.
- Translates business needs and customer feedback into user stories, complete with detailed acceptance criteria for the development team to implement.
- Identifies system needs to support short and long term product strategy.
- Collaborates with Program Director to ensure alignment between the product strategy and the overall organizational objectives
- Ensures quality assurance in the management and execution of User Acceptance testing to validate that products meet the necessary standards before release.
- Assists in coordinating product releases, managing any updates, and ensuring successful rollouts.
- May lead effort or manage project teams in the implementation of regional and companywide initiatives including legislative changes, network/provider changes/ medical management program and policy initiatives, etc.
Minimum Requirements:
Requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:
- MBA preferred.
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent Agile certification preferred.
- Proven experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in an agile development environment strongly preferred.
- Experience with Value Based Contracting of financial acumen strongly preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire teams and stakeholders preferred.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable steps preferred.
- Strong understanding of agile methodologies and frameworks like Scrum or Kanban preferred.
For candidates working in person or virtually in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $119,416 to $195,408.
