Location: Ideal candidates will be able to report to our Pulse Point location at 300 Seven Fields Blvd, Suite 100, Seven Fields, PA 16046
This role requires associates to be in-office 1 day per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace.

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
The Data Scientist develops and implements predictive model algorithms and techniques with moderate complexity.
How you will make an impact:
Execute algorithms to address specific business problems under direction of team lead or manager.
Work with data sets of moderate size and complexity.
Develop visualization of analysis output for business users and publish results under direction of team lead or manager.
Predict model and machine learning concepts in distributed computing environment.
Implement batch and real-time model scoring to drive actions.
Provide high-level controllership/evaluation of all output produced to ensure established targets are met.
Determine the continuous improvement opportunities of current predictive modeling algorithms.
Proactively collaborate with business partners to determine identified population segments and develop actionable plans to enable the identification of patterns related to quality, use, cost and other variables.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Machine Learning, Econometrics, Physics, Biostatistics or a related field.
Additional Requirements:
Three (3) years of experience working in related occupation(s).
Three (3) years of experience must include:
Three (3) years of experience with Python, R and SAS.
Three (3) years of working experience with Hadoop distributed computing environment.
Three (3) years of experience using Hive, Impala, or Apache Spark.
Three (3) years of data extraction and manipulation experience using SQL. Three (3) years of experience connecting Tableau or Shiny reports to Hadoop back end.
Three (3) years of experience with JavaScript visualization libraries including D3.js.
Alternate Education/Experience Requirements:
Employer will accept a Master’s degree in Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Machine Learning, Econometrics, Physics, Biostatistics or a related field plus One (1) year of experience. Must have skills listed above.
