Product Manager – Wellbeing Solutions

Location : This position will work in a hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations.

The Product Manager is responsible for supporting the implementation, and management of a product strategy for multiple markets. Influences implements, and maintains competitive Well-being product platforms across markets. Partners with product managers and project teams to achieve superior execution of product strategy

in the marketplace. Supports the development of short- and long-term strategic product plans in support of market, sales, and profitability objectives. Ensure products, roadmaps, and go-to-market initiatives spanning the portfolio are aligned to the Segment and Solutions goals and business objectives.

How you will make an impact:   

  • Collaboratively works with segment support and market leadership teams to design and implement optimal Wellbeing Solutions for clients, while constantly evaluating existing offerings and competitor data to improve products.
  • Fosters partnerships with product managers and business leaders to champion an integrated product plan, upgrade roadmap and go-to-market strategy that supports our business objectives.
  • Sets expectations and assists in the annual packaging planning process with segment leads and market teams.
  • Acts as a communication link between segments/markets and products when it comes to packaging strategy, ensuring all products are in compliance with regulatory directives and state/federal laws and policies.
  • Establishes and maintains insight resources to assist in strategic planning, which includes analyzing marketplace trends and proposing new initiatives.
  • Provides competitive market analysis and recommends proactive strategies in response to changing patterns of competition.
  • Partners with marketing in developing a tailored value proposition that meets the needs of each segment and various markets.
  • Provides training to relevant stakeholders (Sales, Operations, Segment Product Teams) on strategic approach, product details, and overall marketing support.
  • Establishes productive communication feedback loops with all stakeholders, conducting regular touchpoints to keep them updated about strategy/product development.
  • Monitors and guides product development stages, ensuring a coordinated presentation, communication, and implementation process.

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:

  • Product Management and Go-To-Market experience are highly preferred.
  • Experience and knowledge managing Health & Wellness products, and health insurance plans and portfolios preferred.
  • Experience with strategic and tactical planning and market/opportunity analysis within the healthcare or managed care industry is highly preferred.
  • Highly motivated, accountable, and self-directed: very organized, driven, and flexible to manage a wide range of responsibilities strongly preferred.
  • Excellent written, oral, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills with the proven ability to negotiate expectations between multiple parties.
  • Foster strong positive relationships at all levels of the organization, maintaining an environment of mutual education and support.
  • Highly proficient in Excel and analytic tools, Microsoft Office.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $ 74,508 to $127,728.
