Location: Ideal candidates will be able to report to our Pulse Point location at 108 Leigus Rd. Wallingford, CT 06492.
This role requires associates to be in-office 1 day per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace.

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
The Engineer III conducts design solution sessions with developers and formulate technical solutions for the project.
How you will make an impact:
Design and create technical frameworks using Spring MVC, Webservices, and Jquery.
Analyze requirements and come up with estimates/timelines to complete assignments - using UML.
Create logical data models and work closely with the DBA for the physical implementation of the DB Schema changes required for the project.
Support application development for Medical care management – using Web application development frameworks, Spring MVC, jQuery, Web Services (REST and SOAP), JavaScript, JSP, and Ext JS.
Responsible for design and code review of the overall project and ensured appropriate best practices were adhered to deliver on-time development completion with a low defect rate – through close interactions/reviews with the developers.
Work with the Infrastructure Team to set up the necessary resources in the Dev/QA/Prod regions.
Use version control and application-building tools such as GIT, Bitbucket, Maven, and Bamboo for project development and employ DevOps processes.
Implement Agile methodology for software development.
Use MongoDB and DB2 to handle the persistence of Utilization Management data.
Develop the technical design documents, unit test plans, and JUnit test cases for APIs, Web Services, and complex Java modules.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related.
Additional Requirements:
Three (3) years of experience in any occupation with experience in Java/J2EE software development experience.
