Location: Ideal candidates will be able to report to our Pulse Point location at 5800 Northampton Blvd, Norfolk, VA 23502.

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
The Engineer III designs and develops REST API framework to consume data from databases.
How you will make an impact:
Troubleshoot root cause analysis on ongoing issues in various environments and provide solutions for production issues and code deployment activity.
Work in support and maintenance activities for production environment using SPLUNK monitoring tool.
Use concepts of Agile development methodology and software development life cycle in building the Java-based API applications.
Work with product owners and developers on requirement analysis and architecture designs.
Write SQL queries for data retrieval and data updating in database.
Fix issues and defects.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
Additional Requirements:
Three (3) years in any occupation with Information Technology (IT) experience, or related.
Three (3) years of experience must include:
Three (3) years of experience working with product owners and business analyst on requirements gathering, architectural design and implementation.
Three (3) years of experience in SAFE Agile with program implement (PI) planning with face-to-face events with business teams to gather requirements.
Three (3) years of experience in production support and Splunk monitoring.
Two (2) years of experience in core Java web services and Spring MVC framework.
Two (2) Years of experience designing API products including APIGEE, API proxies & JUnit test cases.
