Location: Ideal candidates will live or be willing to relocate to within 50 miles of our Pulse Point location in 5800 Northampton Blvd. Norfolk, VA 23502
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
The Engineer III develops simple to complex functionalities within applications built on Pega technology.
How you will make an impact:
Lead scrum teams through planning, build and delivery of product while addressing or resolving any impediments for the team.
Review code built by co-workers to ensure quality is not compromised.
Work with Product Owner to prioritize the backlog and guide the team to develop the stories based on the set priority.
Operate as a subject matter expert while working with business/stakeholders during elaboration of new requirements or application enhancements.
Review requirements with business and analyze/provide the scope in terms of delivery timelines and budgeting.
Support application releases with post-production validation etc.
Engage external teams to solve for application specific technical dependencies.
Align and promote Pega CoE enablement practices for enterprise wide applications reusing the technology and frameworks.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), IT or related.
Five (5) years of engineering, information technologies, or related experience.
Five (5) years of engineering, information technologies, or related experience must include: Three (3) years in Pega, CPM, CPMHC frameworks; Development in Pega technology; Experience with DB querying in Oracle / SQL databases; Experience using SOAP UI, Postman etc. to test API’s for requests/responses; Creating custom reports based on business needs in Pega; and Using SMA, PAL, PLA and other Pega add-on’s for application performance management.
Additional Requirements:
Employer will accept a accept a Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), IT or related plus three (3) years of engineering, information technologies, or related experience.

SALARY: $144,602 per year
