Location: Ideal candidates will be able to report to our Pulse Point location at 2015 Staples Mill Rd., Richmond, VA 23230
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
The Engineer Lead Senior maintains active relationships with customers to determine business requirements, lead requirement gathering meetings and review designs with the business.
How you will make an impact:
Anticipate broad technical change and ensure that company technology stays ahead of the curve.
Prioritize projects and make trade-offs with respect to the enterprise systems changes based on broader business needs.
Own the change request process and coordinate with other teams as necessary.
Develop and own list of final enhancements.
Develop and define application scope and objectives and supervise the preparation of technical and/or functional specifications from which the programs will be written.
Perform technical design reviews and code reviews.
Ensure unit test is completed and meets the test plan requirements, system testing is completed, and system is implemented according to plan.
Responsible for delivery of application technology solutions and data information planning effort.
Develop multi-year technology strategy for critical areas of the business that may encompass multiple systems.
Partner with technical and non-technical stakeholders to identity the long-term technical trajectory of the technology infrastructure.
Create architecture and anticipate future technology needs.
Lead the conversations internally about the direction of major areas of the technology, drive wide-team consensus to the adoption of this direction, and use this direction when engaging engineers.
Participate in review and decision making for enterprise solutions.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Additional Requirements:
Nine (9) years of experience in related occupation(s).
Nine (9) years of experience must include:
Nine (9) years of experience working in the information technology field. Additional requirements.
Five (5) years of experience with Jira, Confluence and Visio.
Five (5) years of experience implementing Agile methodologies with large-sized Agile implementations of 7 or more scrum teams.
Five (5) years of experience with data model concepts in Mongo and SQL Server.
Five (5) years of experience developing training plans, requirements documents, and approval matrixes.
Five (5) years of experience identifying team training and tool needs.
SALARY: $179,280 per year
