Engineer Lead

Location: Ideal candidates will be able to report to our Pulse Point location at 4361 Irwin Simpson Road, Mason, OH 45040

Work Hours:   Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 p

The Engineer Lead delivers end-to-end application; perform system development and maintenance on complex multi-technology platforms within assigned client group, business unit or corporate department, and utilize various customer technology platforms.

How you will make an impact:

  • Develop HIPAA transaction-based applications 270/271, 276/277, 278 to support the Blue exchange requirements across enterprise.

  • Maintain active relationships with customers to determine business requirements and lead requirements gathering meetings. Design the components, build process, continuous integration, and provide technical solutions.

  • Develop and define application scope and objectives and prepare technical and/ or functional specifications from which programs will be written.

  • Perform technical design reviews, code reviews and regular IT audit to discover areas of weaknesses and fortify them.

  • Ensure unit test is completed and meets the test plan requirements, system testing is completed and system is implemented according to plan.

  • Coordinate on-call support, ensure effective monitoring of system and setting direction at the technical project/ service level.

  • Mentor others and lead multiple or small to medium sized projects.

  • Understand the tradeoffs between technical, analytical, and product needs of the technical solutions.

  • Identify and propose strategies around technical problems affecting team, communicate standards, and get buy-in on solutions.

  • Facilitate group sessions to elicit complex information on requirements clarification, design sessions, code reviews, and troubleshooting issues.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related.

Additional Requirements:

  • Five (5) years of experience working in any occupation with IT experience, or related.

  • Five (5) years of required IT, or related experience must include:

  • Spring Frameworks; Programming Languages such as: JAVA, NodeJS, Python, JavaScript.

  • Webservices such as: SOAP, REST, XML.

  • Databases such as: Oracle, DB2, Mongo DB, SQL Server.

  • Cloud Tools such as: Doc DB, AWS S3, EKS, Postgres SQL.

  • CI/CD Tools such as: BitBucket, Bamboo, Tekton.

  • Build Tools such as: Maven, ANT.

  • Issue Tracking Tools such as: JIRA, IBM ClearQuest, Confluence.

SALARY:    $133,118.82 per year
