Location: Ideal candidates will be able to report to our Pulse Point location at 2103 Staples Mill Rd., Richmond, VA 23230.
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
The Engineer Lead will Work as a Development Lead in delivery of end-to-end application, system development and maintenance of complex multi technology platforms within assigned client group, business unit or corporate department while utilizing various customer technology platforms.
How you will make an impact:
- Maintain active relationships with customers to determine business requirements and lead requirements gathering meetings.
- Develop and define application scope and objectives. Supervise the preparation of technical and/or functional specifications.
- Understand the tradeoffs between technical, analytical and product needs of the technical solutions.
- Own the change request process and may coordinate with other teams as necessary.
- Provide technical advice and weigh in on technical decisions that impact cross functional teams.
- Maintain technical development environment. Research and may propose new technologies. Develop and own list of final enhancements.
- Assesses current status and support data information planning.
- Perform technical design reviews and code reviews.
- Perform end to end application development and maintenance.
- Coordinate on-call support and ensure effective monitoring of system.
- Investigate issues or defects, determine root cause of problem, formulate corrective action recommendations, and implement plan of action.
- Own technical testing to ensure unit test is completed and meets the test plan requirements, system testing is completed, and system is implemented according to plan.
- Identify and propose strategies around technical problems affecting team, communicate standards and get buy-in on solutions.
- Facilitate group sessions to elicit complex information on requirements clarification, design sessions, code reviews and troubleshooting issues.
- Utilize Health Care industry experience, Agile methodology, and execution process.
- Mentor the Development team and assist with solving complex technical challenges.
- Support vendor evaluation.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related.
- Five (5) years of any occupation with Information Technology (IT) experience, or related.
- Five (5) years of required Information Technology (IT) or related experience must include:
- End to end application development and maintenance.
- Design and development for complex multi technology platforms in Agile framework.
- Java; Angular; Spring; Linux.
- Database Technologies: Mongo DB, Oracle, and SQL Server.
