Location: Ideal candidates will be able to report to our Pulse Point location at 740 W. Peachtree Street NW, Atlanta, GA 30308
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
The Engineer Lead translates business requirements into functional and non-functional requirements by working with business and IT stakeholders.
How you will make an impact:
Lead software development activities such as design, development, review, testing, defect management and implementation.
Perform technical design reviews and code reviews.
Work with business and IT stakeholders to obtain approvals as needed.
Negotiate schedule, deliveries, and defect resolution.
Facilitate and provide high level of estimate on functional and non-functional requirements.
Provide production support for complex healthcare systems.
Own change request process and support emergency fixes to production.
Analyze issues and recommend a path forward to business.
Mentor and lead multiple small and mid-sized teams.
Handle various audit assessments, review requests, and provide audit responses with required information on time.
Support vendor evaluation and analysis.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
Additional Requirements:
Seven (7) years of experience in related occupation(s).
Seven (7) years of experience must include: Seven (7) years of experience with design and development of Pega solutions and frameworks with focus towards maintainability, performance, usability, and user experience (UX).
Also requires five (5) years of experience with all of the following: building software solutions using multi-stack technologies using Pega; implementing PEGA integration services using REST, SOAP, and email; PEGA new case management features; healthcare systems and large healthcare payer overall structure, processes, functions including provider systems, pricing, membership and claims processing; triaging and troubleshooting performance issues in enterprise scale applications; troubleshooting and solving complex technical problems; and production support including monitoring the systems and the processes, timely resolution of production issues, performing data fixes/updates, RCA and reporting once an issue is resolved, system/process fine tuning to prevent future incidents, and coordinating on-call support and ensuring effective monitoring of system.
