Engineer Senior

Location: Ideal candidates will be able to report to our Pulse Point location at   1960 Ivy Creek Blvd, Durham, NC 27707

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

The Engineer Senior works as Siebel CRM Developer. Design and build new functionalities/ enhancements based on business requirements in CRM platform.

How you will make an impact:

  • Conduct Functional/High Level Design and Technical Design/Low Level Design documents for changes to Siebel CRM systems.

  • Analyze existing configuration and map to new product features.

  • Define and design required configuration changes to Siebel objects such as business objects, business components, Integration objects and web/ REST services. Create Siebel Workflows, Taskflows and eScripts.

  • Perform integration with 3rd party systems, Siebel administration of managing repository and servers.

  • Support Siebel Upgrade and identify and resolve any upgrade issues.

  • Provide maintenance support for the CRM platform by addressing various production issues through analysis and code fixes.

  • Provide technical advice and weighs in on technical decisions that impact cross functional teams.

  • Classify complex change requests, and reviews and evaluates possible enhancements.

  • Work with an Onshore Product team and an Offshore development team to develop and define application scope and objectives. Prepare functional and/ or technical specifications and solutions for implementation in a complex environment.

  • Coordinate on-call support and ensures effective monitoring of system.

  • Facilitate group sessions to elicit complex information on requirements clarification, design sessions, code reviews and troubleshooting issues.

  • Achieve high level of customer satisfaction and communication with the Medicare CRM business owners and IT staff.

  • Aid in integration activities with internal and external IT partners for successful implementation and support of project efforts.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related.

Additional Requirements:

  • Six (6) years of Information Technology (IT) experience developing Siebel CRM technologies, or related.

  • Six (6) years of Information Technology (IT) experience developing Siebel CRM technologies must include:

  • Three (3) years of analyzing and enhancing existing Siebel footprint.

  • Three (3) years of Siebel Workflow and Integration development.

  • Three (3) years of Siebel Open UI.

  • Three (3) years of Siebel Administration.

  • Two (2) years of experience with Siebel upgrade project full life cycle implementation.
