Engineer Senior

Location: Ideal candidates will be able to report to our Pulse Point location at 2103 Staples Mill Road, Richmond, VA 46204

Work Hours:   Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

The Engineer Senior maintain active relationships with stakeholders to determine business requirements and lead requirements gathering meetings.

How you will make an impact:

  • Manage visual design, usability, information architecture, navigation and content of web-based applications and provide User Experience (UX) recommendations that aligns with product roadmap and industrial standards such as World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG).

  • Implement prototype by developing the code using knowledge of relevant frameworks and libraries such as Angular, React Native, TypeScript, NodeJS and npm as per design specifications and document artifacts such as unit test scripts independently and support peers in identifying code defects and ensuring that the output is delivered as per the given specifications and SLAs.

  • Own the change request process and coordinate with other teams as necessary.

  • Resolve existing issues by conducting analysis, identifying, and evaluating workarounds and solutions.

  • Support other team members on issue resolution in areas of expertise as required.

  • Develop and own list of final enhancements based on reviews and feedback.

  • Develop and define application scope and objectives and prepares technical documentation.

  • Develop fully functional responsive prototypes based on business requirements using HTML5, CSS3, SASS/LESS, Bootstrap, Responsive Web Design (RWD), jQuery, JavaScript, and Accessibility.

  • Responsible for all aspects of the user interface such as gathering client requirements, scope, prototyping, design, internal and external validation, implementation and development, documentation and QA.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related.

Additional Requirements:

  • Five (5) years of Information Technology (IT) experience, or related.

  • Five (5) years of Information Technology (IT) experience must include: AngularJS; React Native; NodeJS; REST API; Redux; TypeScript; ReactJS; ES6/7; GulpJS; and SASS.

SALARY:    $150,550 per year
