Engineer Senior

Location: Ideal candidates will be able to report to our Pulse Point location at 740 W Peachtree Street NW, Atlanta, GA 30308

Work Hours:   Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

The Engineer Senior is responsible for full stack application development by using Java, AngularJS, Python, Spring boot, AWS services and other compatible J2EE Technologies.

How you will make an impact:

  • Participate in project PI planning sessions with project managers, business analysts, product owners and Architects and Development lead, and other team members to analyze business requirements and outline the proposed solution. Implement Microservices architecture using Spring Boot to remove boilerplate code and to implement Restful services as Microservices.

  • Develop the code following industry best practices along with unit test cases (with 100% code coverage) using Sonar cube.

  • Develop complex SQL queries and stored procedures involving multiple data sources.

  • Provide application support and analyze logs to improve the performance of the application after deployments.

  • Work closely with QA to define test plans and test cases for applications.

  • Perform code reviews, testing, and debugging team members code. Be involved in multiple customer demos to get early feedback. Work with offshore team for code reviews, merging pull re-quests and providing them technical guidance on a day-to-day basis.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering (any), or related.

Additional Requirements

  • Five (5) years of Information Technology (IT) experience, or related.

  • Five (5) years of Information Technology (IT) experience must include: Object-oriented programming languages such as: Java, J2EE; Frameworks such as: Spring, Spring Boot; AWS Services such as: Lambda functions, EKS, S3; Front End technologies such as: TypeScript, HTML, CSS; SQL Databases such as: Oracle, MySQL; and Project Management tools such as: JIRA, Confluence.

SALARY:      $149,760 per year
