Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
The Engineer Senior is responsible for delivery of end to end application, system development and maintenance of large-scale business process management (BPM) systems working in a distributed development environment.
How you will make an impact:
Participate in discussions with Business and Product Owners to determine new business requirements and enhancements to existing process.
Convert business requirements into high level business process designs using Pega Rules Process Commander (PRPC).
Actively participate in the design and implementation phases and ensure the successful delivery of the project from a high-level technical perspective.
Daily connect with offshore dev team to ensure they are not blocked by any requirement or design gap.
Perform extensive code reviews and all the new features are performance tested so that we do not face any issues that might negatively impact user experience.
Ensure all the new features and existing functionalities are tested by QA and UAT teams and Coordinate with testing team if there are any issues.
Make sure that systems are built for change, scalability, and reusability.
Track the project's major outcome categories and metrics.
Provides technical guidance and support as needed for team.
Coordinates on-call support and ensures effective monitoring of system various phases of the project.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field of study.
Five (5) years in any occupation with IT experience, or related.
Five (5) years of required IT, or related experience must include: PEGA PRPC; Microsoft SQL Server; Oracle; Web Services; SOAP UI; WebSphere; Apache Tomcat; Postman; XML; JSON.
Alternate Education/Experience Requirements:
Employer will accept a Master’s degree, plus three (3) years of experience in any occupation with IT experience, or related. Must have skills listed above.
