Location: This position will take part in Elevance Health's hybrid workforce strategy which includes virtual work and 1-2 days in office per week.

**The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles and a 1-hour commute to one of our Elevance Health major office (PulsePoint) locations. Elevance Health supports a hybrid workplace model with PulsePoint sites used for collaboration, community, and connection.

The Event Planner Senior is responsible for planning and executing meetings, conferences, and special events for internal and external attendees.

How You Will Make an Impact

Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:

  • Designs and produces conference/event collateral to communicate meeting details and to promote incentive trips.
  • Develops online registration system information with outside vendor or internally, depending on the complexity of the registration process.
  • Creates the tracking process for reporting taxable income from the sales incentive trips for internal associates and external brokers.
  • Assists in the preparation of presentations when requested.
  • Contracts with vendors for event arrangements such as hotels, transportation, activities, etc.
  • Surveys event participants to solicit feedback to use in enhancing future events.
  • Identifies and aligns event-marketing opportunities, which meet corporate objectives.
  • Develops and manages the budget for show management, audiovisual, and food/beverage and related expenses
  • Produces and directs company' events.
  • Manages company's logistics at events.
  • Ability to maintain detailed event management-related current and historical data
  • Versatile and seasoned professional who can navigate the complexities of procedure and protocol for visits by high-level attendees
  • Innovative problem solving
  • Manages project timelines, deadline compliance and effective communication and dissemination of both.
  • Comfortable with managing all elements of a hybrid or virtual meeting including the technical elements, running rehearsals before an event and presentations the day of
  • Detail-oriented and timeline focused

Minimum Requirements:

Requires a BA/BS degree and a minimum of 5 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experiences:

  • Certified Meeting Professional Designation preferred.
  • Travels to worksite and other locations as necessary.
  • Planning and execution of virtual meeting experience preferred.

For candidates working in person or remotely in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $83,444 to $125,166.
